Dr. Bill Hoppock is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in West Los Angeles, where he has been treating clients since 1990. The majority of his professional work is treating adults and couples, helping them through their emotional process and leading them towards healing. In addition he has been working with organizational teams on leadership and emotional intelligence. He has received advanced training in current treatment for anxiety, depression, couples therapy, emotional intelligence, and mind body pain reduction.
He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from Arizona State University, Master of Public Administration–specializing in organizational development from the University of Southern California. He earned his Ph.D. from the California Graduate Institute in clinical psychology.
While owning several businesses, he has a deep history and understanding of work related issues and how those experiences impact the individual and their families. He has consulted within various organizations on leadership, emotional intelligence, and the psychology of selling, in addition to family owned businesses.
Dr. Bill Hoppock has run groups for men looking at the issues of men and how they can become more effective with others as well as how to increase their emotional and social intelligence.
Dr. Bill Hoppock has been a member of Catholic Big Brothers, a member of the Los Angeles County Commission for Economy and Efficiency, member of various service organizations, as well as a member of Bel Air Presbyterian Church. He is also a member of California State Psychological Association and the Los Angeles County Psychological Association.
